Her throaty voice and engaging stage presence mark Jane Huang as one of Taiwan's most solid pop-rock vocalists. After winning the popular vote in the One Million Star singing competition in 2007, she cofounded the duo Y2J with fellow contestant Yuming Lai—but it wasn't until Huang released her debut album, On My Way, in 2012, that her career got on the fast track. Huang's delicate take on songs such as "Only Afraid of Being Homesick" and "Silent Protest" contrast with the in-your-face attitude of her harder rock tunes like "Crazy World"—our playlist runs the entire gamut.
