Hong Kong-based singer/songwriter Hins Cheung has an exceptional ability to mesmerise crowds, and these immersive Cantopop ballads go some way to explaining why. Keys reign supreme whether as solo accompaniment or as textures in rich, elaborate instrumentations. Nothing, however, can outshine Cheung's voice as he dominates romantic duets and live recordings that stretch across a host of genres.
