Tito Nieves

Nicknamed "El Pavarotti de la Salsa" for his near-operatic tenor, Puerto Rico-born Tito Nieves drew attention in 1991 with "De Mi Enamorate,” raised eyebrows by covering boogaloo classic "I Like It Like That," and distinguished himself by singing salsa in English.
