You may not recognize Michael Whitworth’s name, but you’ll certainly recognise some—if not many—of the songs he’s written. The Roswell, Georgia, native spent years as a road warrior and hired gun for touring bands before making a go as a country songwriter in Nashville. The story sounds like some of the impassioned, heartfelt tunes he’s written for the likes of Lady A, Florida Georgia Line, Eli Young Band and more.
