Brazil's Sepultura are the best known, but metal bands have exploded out of Latin America (Argentina's V8) and Spain (Barón Rojo and Ángeles del Infierno) since at least the early '80s. This mix includes all those plus thrash from Mexico (Transmetal), sludge from Venezuela (Cultura Tres), doom from Puerto Rico (Dantesco) and bands from Peru, Costa Rica and Colombia.
