Inhaler Essentials

Originally formed at Dublin’s St. Andrew’s College in 2012, Inhaler have made a name for themselves with their arena-sized blend of post-punk’s urgency and stadium rock’s grandeur. Vocalist-guitarist Elijah Hewson, bassist Robert Keating and drummer Ryan McMahon comprised the band’s original core; lead guitarist Josh Jenkinson joined in 2015. Inhaler self-released their first single, “I Want You”, in 2017, following it up in 2019 with three singles, including the slow-burning “Ice Cream Sundae”. The buzz—helped somewhat by Hewson being the son of U2’s Bono—grew steadily as the band toured and released more singles, and their first album, It Won’t Always Be Like This, came out in 2021. The 2023 follow-up, Cuts & Bruises, includes the dreamy “Just To Keep You Satisfied”.
