Don Diablo Essentials

The Dutch producer Don Diablo got his start making punishing hardcore techno in the late ‘90s, and by the time of EDM's early-'10s explosion, he'd become a go-to purveyor of amped-up festival anthems like "Chain Reaction (Domino)", bursting with colour and concussive power. He became a go-to remixer, too, turning Ed Sheeran's "Don't" into a main-stage future-house banger and bringing jittery trap energy to Rihanna's "Love on the Brain". His '80s-flavoured tropical-house single "Take Her Place", meanwhile, is proof that all those years of peak-time fare haven't kept him from expressing his sensitive side.
