In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I vividly remember when my grandpa bought me my first guitar. It was from a yard sale, an old acoustic guitar with metal strings. That's what started it all What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Radiohead, In Rainbows Bonus Album Robert Glasper Experiment, Black Radio Thundercat, Drunk Robert Glasper - Black Radio - the album which inspired me to do the music I do today Radiohead - In Rainwbos - can listen to this record 24/7 Thundercat - DRUNК - one of the most forward-thinking artists..also, I love his self-irony Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lotus (feat. Trombobby & EVDN.)” I love incorporating guitar in my music with synthwave sounds and brass instruments - we recorded this on a beat retreat up in the mountains and it was an amazing experience. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? That was when I got invited to play in one of the biggest local festivals at the time - that was also my first show with artists who I now consider close friends - Trombobby, EVDN, and VOLEN. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To release a record featuring artists that inspire me.
