In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. This is a tricky one, I remember my Mum buying my a bootleg cassette of The Police from a car boot sale. I remember writing songs when I was really young and knocking on peoples doors to sing them... this was in Primary School! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Leonard Bernstein, New York Philharmonic, Brahms: Symphony No. 2 In D Major; Symphony No. 3 In F Major No.3 is my out and out favourite and the Berstein versions are just amazing. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sullen” The piece for me was about the joyous innocence of youth, then feeling that veil falling away and being overcome with the heaviness of living. Then realising, actually, that weight and struggle can be beautiful and inspiring, you grow and love.
