About Jâms Coleman

Pianist Jâms Coleman has made an impact early in his career as a solo player, chamber musician, and accompanist. He has served as the musical director for Opera Cymraeg and for a concert series at St. Clement Danes Church in London. From his student days, Coleman performed as a song accompanist, and designation as an Oxford Lieder Young Artist helped his career along. In the late 2010s, he performed with top singers, including bass Sir John Tomlinson. In addition to singers, Coleman has been active as an accompanist for a wide variety of instrumentalists. In 2021, he made his recording debut, backing baritone Nicholas Mogg on the album The Other Erlking. The following year, Coleman returned as accompanist to Laura van der Heijden on the album Pohádka: Tales from Prague to Budapest.
