In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad had binders full of songs. He brought them to dinner parties, we would spend hours singing. On a school night past bedtime, I heard guitar from the living room. Mom came in and whispered, 'Go to him. He wants to sing with you.' Felt like xmas. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Brown Sugar Daniel Caesar, Freudian Robert Glasper Experiment, Black Radio Brown Sugar - the first album that got me into neo-soul Black Radio - moved to London after high school and started playing in a house band, we covered a lot of these songs Freudian - just a perfect album, each song a masterpiece Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rain Clouds” I wrote this song in a "Music of Stevie Wonder"-class at Berklee. We were analyzing his unique songwriting techniques, which I applied to craft this piece, drawing inspiration from his signature melodies and chord progressions.
