Much has happened with Ñengo Flow since the release of the original Real G 4 Life back in 2011. Even after the next couple of volumes in subsequent years demonstrated the consistency of the Puerto Rican reggaetonero’s talents, he experienced a certain resurgence as a respected maestro by a new wave of artists. Prominent features on albums and singles by Anuel AA, Bad Bunny and Myke Towers, to name a few, introduced him to a younger generation, setting the stage for this potent instalment in the ongoing series. All three of these powerhouse talents appear on RealG4Life Vol. 4, as do fellow veterans Ñejo, Tempo and Wisin & Yandel. Befitting his hip-hop bona fides, he stunts opposite Brooklyn’s own J.I the Prince of N.Y on the bilingual “NY” and flexes his lyrical muscle opposite the aforementioned Anuel on the rugged trap cut “Carbón 15”.
