Hins Cheung is a new force in Cantopop. His career started when he sang in bars in Guangzhou, his hometown, during the school holidays. He was spotted by a local radio DJ in the early '00s and, by 2008, had swept up the top places in Hong Kong's radio pop charts with “His Story”, and became the first Mainland Chinese artist to headline the city's legendary Hung Hom Stadium. His hit “Forever Young” propelled him to superstardom––this ode to lost youth moved fans to tears and contributed to him winning the Most Popular Male Singer category at the 2014 Jade Solid Gold Best 10 Music Awards.
