In the follow-up to 2026’s THE SIN : VANISH, ENHYPEN continues a fantastical tale of star-crossed lovers living in a world of both humans and vampires. While the opening salvo in the “THE SIN” series focused on the angst of giving up society for a taboo love, THE SIN : BLISS is about the euphoria that comes when the vampire-human couple settles into their choice to run away together. Still, a shadow of potential doom follows them. This interplay between immediate ecstasy and inevitable peril gives ENHYPEN’s supernatural concept album its shape. On pop-rock opener “Two Fools”, love is “24/7 heaven,” but—channelling the story’s vampire protagonist—ENHYPEN notes this love “feels like both salvation and a curse” on hip-hop track “Stuck”. “Checkmate” embraces layers of skittering techno beats to tease a fateful climax that is only partially resolved in “Highlight”, an old-school hip-hop-inspired track that compares the fictional love—and perhaps ENHYPEN’s career—to a highlight reel in which “every moment is timeless.” THE SIN : BLISS marks the first ENHYPEN album released as a sextet, following the departure of HEESUNG, who left the K-pop group in March 2026 in order to pursue a solo career under the name EVAN. The outside context gives the fiction of the concept album real-world weight, a reminder that nothing is forever.
