Top Songs of 2025: Canada
Apple Music’s end-of-year charts are based on plays between 1 November 2024 and 31 October 2025. If this year’s charts are any indication, Canada’s love for country isn’t ending any time soon. Despite admitting “I’m the Problem”, Morgan Wallen didn’t have any trouble dominating 2025’s Top 100 songs. He and Zach Bryan accounted for more than a quarter of them, in fact, and older tracks from Shaboozey, Luke Combs, and Chris Stapleton only helped country continue its reign. But pop, of course, remained a strong presence, with Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True,” Alex Warren’s “Ordinary”, and Lady Gaga’s “Die with a Smile” bringing soul-baring honesty front and centre. There was plenty of Canadian representation across genres, too: Tate McRae’s “Sports car” raced up the charts, Punjabi star Karan Aujla got “Wavy”, and Justin Bieber returned with “DAISIES”, while Drake fired up his “NOKIA” and The Weeknd proved he was indeed “Timeless”. And the ever-expanding world of K-pop delivered tons of fun, too, whether from real stars such as ROSÉ or not-so-real ones like KPop Demon Hunters’ HUNTR/X and Saja Boys. Here are the top 100 songs that Canada couldn’t get enough of in 2025.
