Since emerging in the late '90s, Death Cab for Cutie have evolved into one of the 21st century's most refined and eclectic indie-pop bands. Complementing Ben Gibbard's vivid, introspective storytelling and soothing vocal, the band work through intricate guitar pop on "A Movie Script Ending", stretch out on the slow-burning piano dirge "Transatlanticism" and then flip that romanticism into the moody, bass-led stalker epic "I Will Possess Your Heart".
