Making Time is a Philadelphia-based sound experience established in 2000 by Dave P. For decades, the series has transformed clubs, warehouses, boats, restaurants and even non-traditional venues like 18th-century Revolutionary War forts into temporary autonomous zones—canvases where musical transcendence is achieved through cutting-edge underground sounds and visuals from some of the greatest bands, DJs and musical pioneers of our time. Today, after a quarter century of innovation, it has become a worldwide dance music institution and one of the longest-running dance parties around. The zenith of Dave P.'s transcendental plan, Making Time ∞ at Fort Mifflin, was established in 2021. The three-day futuristic sound experience, held on the banks of the Delaware River in Philadelphia, has become one of the most celebrated, influential and transcendental underground electronic music events in North America and an integral component of dance music culture worldwide.
