Family Tree: The Go-Betweens

This late, great Australian band's literate alternative pop morphed into other projects over the years. Along with the solo careers of The Go-Betweens' main songwriters—the wry and angular Robert Forster and the romantic, poetic Grant McLennan—the various group members and associates also produced beat-heavy pop, wiry post-punk and roaring riot grrrl.
