About Todrick Hall
Todrick Hall is a multitalented entertainer who’s found fame as a singer, rapper, actor, choreographer, and online personality. ∙ He started out on Broadway in the late 2000s, but it was his 2010 run as a contestant on American Idol that shot him into the national spotlight. ∙ After catching Beyoncé’s attention with a flash mob set to her song “End of Time,” she hired Hall to choreograph the 2013 video for “Blow.” ∙ In 2015, he starred in his own MTV docuseries, Todrick, and also released a soundtrack album featuring music from the show. ∙ Straight Outta Oz—which included guests Jordin Sparks and Nicole Scherzinger—reached No. 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart in 2016. ∙ RuPaul’s Drag Race invited Hall to be a guest judge in 2016 and later made him a full-time judge and resident choreographer. ∙ Hall co-executive produced the clip for Taylor Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down,” which was named Video of the Year at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
