Lumen began in the ‘90s with a chaotic, young alt-rock style that evolved into a musical intensity characterised by heavy riffs and Rustem Bulatov's barbed vocals. The group's edgy percussion epitomised the rise of an alternative new wave of the '00s, a genre best exemplified by tracks like Psiheya's potent nu-metal anthem “Спасусь таблетками” and Dayte Dva's venomous stomper “Viva La Revolucion”.
