Acerca de Switchfoot

Habiendo usado Chin Up como nombre original, Switchfoot se formó en 1996 y grabó su LP debut en 1997 The Legend of Chin, para re:Think. Le siguió New Way to Be Human dos años más tarde y fue un enorme éxito; gracias al tema que da nombre al disco ganaron en 1999 el Dove Award para la Canción del año. Learning to Breathe (2000) fue su primer lanzamiento en vender 500.000 copias. Luego, The Beautiful Letdown, su debut en Columbia/RED apareció en 2003 y fue doble platino: representó la evolución absoluta del cuarteto hacia un sonido más accesible y masivo. Le siguieron Nothing Is Sound (2005) y Oh! Gravity (2006). ~ Jason Ankeny
