Before they became the bonafide Hong Kong rock band, Mister—also known as Mr.—performed on the underground indie circuit under the name White Noise. It was a gig at superstar Alan Tam's birthday party that gave the quintet its big break. The band was soon picked up by a major label, making them one of Hong Kong's most rare indie acts on the mainstream roster. Since then, the band has dabbled in a more Taiwanese sound, but always keeping their indie cred intact.
