As South Korea's punk and ska scenes developed at the end of the '90s, Lazybone emerged as early leaders. The band's chunky guitars, buoyant horn section and penchant for "whoa" and "yeah" exclamations inspired circle pits all across the peninsula, and served as an inspired soundtrack for house parties. On fan favourites such as the wah-wah funk of "Big Blue Water" and the peppery ska of "Fool", Lazybone cram tight grooves, strutting basslines, bratty vocals and huge choruses into blasts of rock energy.
