As one of Hong Kong’s premier purveyors of R&B and soul, Khalil Fong understood how to create a blissed-out soundtrack. While his choices for this winter playlist were varied in era and style, they all had something in common with his 2024 album, The Dreamer: They’re comforting and contemplative. “They are all warm and clear,” he told Apple Music, just months before his sad passing in early 2025. “They are suitable for listening to while drinking a hot drink or driving in the car when the weather is cold.”
