Katarina Dalayman

The durable career of mezzo-soprano (and former soprano) Katarina Dalayman has featured music of the late 19th and 20th centuries, that of Wagner above all. She has appeared in numerous productions of Wagner's strenuous Ring Cycle in many of the world's top opera houses. Since the late '90s, Dalayman has appeared on various recordings of music by Wagner and other composers. In 2025, she was heard on a recording of Richard Strauss' Salome conducted by Edward Gardner.
