DJ Python, aka New Yorker Brian Piñeyro, is no stranger to Boiler Room, having graced the decks at their past events in Amsterdam and Santiago. While he’s known for producing what he calls “deep reggaetón”—where he mixes dembow riddims with flecks of dub, house, techno and other abstract electronics—DJ Python’s an hour with set, a collaboration between Apple Music and Boiler Room, hews towards reggaetón’s more traditional sound. Tego Calderón and Wisin & Yandel make multiple appearances in this mix, which is energetic and danceable without ever going over the top. It all culminates with a delightful flip on the script—Ramón Torres' beautifully bright bachata tune "Don't Speak Spanish My Love".
