With a career that covered three decades, Soviet singer/songwriter, poet and actor Yuri Vizbor is today considered one of the pioneers of modern Russian music. Famous for his relaxed and informal style, his slow plucking of a seven-string guitar and his lyrics inspired by nature, the Moscow-born bard wrote more than 250 songs during his lifetime, including the hugely popular “Forest Sun”.
