This Saint Petersburg band have made their name with eclectic, alternative and pop-rock sounds, often adorned with elaborate, carefully thought-out harmonies. This selection of deep cuts and B-sides, however, captures Animal Jazz's tender touch, with tunes awash with gentle, lulling piano melodies, atmospheric acoustic guitar and a beautifully desolate, romantic feel.
