Alejo

Hailing from Puerto Rico, reggaeton singer Alejo (Rubén Alejandro) belongs to a new generation of artists from the genre born in the new millennium. Trained as an actor and dancer at the Caguas' Escuela de Bellas Artes, Alejo began to develop an interest in music in his early teens. He started releasing singles around 2019, but struggled to have an impact. His big breakthrough came in 2022 when he was featured in a string of global hits. Alejo's first full-length, El Favorito de las Nenas, appeared one year later on the ONErpm label. En Esta Nos Fuimos Lejos followed in 2024.
