Female Japanese pop star Toko Furuuchi has been quite popular since her debut early in the 1990s. Early LPs like 1993's Slow Down and Distance, as well as the following year's Hug, increased her prominence throughout Asia. Her 1995 album Strength was the most popular of her career, and after 1996's Hourglass, she released a retrospective, Toko: Best Selection. ~ John Bush
