Thomas Søndergård

While conductor and percussionist Thomas Søndergård is known for his interpretations of Danish music, his wide-ranging repertory includes works from many countries, often focusing on contemporary music. He is music director of the Minnesota Orchestra and has also led orchestras in Britain and Norway. Søndergård has recorded with various orchestras and has been associated with the Linn Records label since the mid-2010s. He released the album Bacewicz, Lutosławski, Szymanowski with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in 2025.
