Alan Pierson

Conductor Alan Pierson is the music director of the avant-garde ensemble Alarm Will Sound and has led many other groups, including the Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also a significant educator. Pierson has made various recordings and is particularly associated with those containing music by the Irish composer Donnacha Dennehy. Among those is the 2024 release Donnacha Dennehy: Land of Winter, featuring Alarm Will Sound.
