Anita Hartig

Soprano Anita Hartig has scored successes in major Western houses, including the Vienna State Opera and the Metropolitan Opera. She is especially identified with roles in operas by Puccini and Verdi. Hartig has made multiple appearances at the Metropolitan Opera, singing Mozartian roles as well as her trademark Italian parts. She made her recording debut in 2025 as Anna in a live performance of Puccini's Le Villi.
