In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid, I heard Shostakovich’s 11th Symphony live with my grandfather. The performance was incredible, but my grandfather's tears after the final notes struck deepest. In that moment, I knew: I wanted to move people with music, just like that.
