Norwegian Radio Orchestra

The Norwegian Radio Orchestra has a long history encompassing genres ranging from light classical and easy listening music to contemporary works from Scandinavia and elsewhere. The orchestra has numerous engagements beyond its affiliation with the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, including performances as part of the Eurovision Song Contest. The recording schedule of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra has grown steadily denser since the beginning of the 21st century. It has been heard on several film soundtracks, including that of Requiem for Selina (2025).
