Georg Kallweit

Concertmaster of the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, violinist Georg Kallweit is a noted master of the Baroque violin. He has also been a guest soloist with many other historically oriented and modern instrument orchestras. Kallweit has a substantial recording catalog on Harmonia Mundi, Alpha, Pentatone, and other labels. In 2024, he appeared on Harmonia Mundi as concertmaster of the Akademie für Alte Musik, backing countertenor Carlo Vistoli on the album Vivaldi: Sacro Furore.
