Hitomi Yaida calls her energetic songs “heart rock”, an apt title for guitar-driven tunes about the ecstasy of love. Raised in Osaka, Yaida didn't pick up the guitar until age 19, but in less than five years she was gaining attention for her catchy, expressive blend of pop and rock.
