One of the founding members of J-pop heavyweights EXILE, Shunsuke Kiyokiba first earned attention for his powerful vocal chops, which added force to the boy band's pop songs and soared on their slower numbers. After helping the outfit achieve national success, he left EXILE in 2006 to pursue his solo career. Since then, he's adopted an edgier, more rock-influenced sound, though his attention-grabbing voice remains at the center of his music, with plenty of dramatic ballads anchoring his songbook.
