In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first live performance was with a 13-person mixed arts ensemble, and I was invited to join less than 24 hours before we took the stage. My then-bandmate and I wrote most of one song on stage while others were setting up. It was exhilarating. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cocteau Twins, Victorialand Remastered Nocturnal Emissions, The World Is My Womb These works were instrumental inflection points in my musical development, teaching me that music could be sound, sound could be music, anything could be anything, you could sculpt from air, so long as you touched something numinous in the listener. Tell us why you chose this song. “Reflector” This has always been one of my favourites from among my own songs because I conceived of it as a moving picture in my mind of bright sunlight reflecting from a rotating radar dish, and that visual comes back to me strongly every time I hear it.
