François-Frédéric Guy

Pianist François-Frédéric Guy has specialized in the music of Beethoven but also has a strong commitment to contemporary music, giving the premieres of several new works. He has appeared as a concerto soloist or recitalist in many of Europe's major concert halls. In 2005, Guy made his recording debut, backing clarinetist Romain Guyot on a recording of Brahms' clarinet sonatas. His solo debut came three years later. Guy recorded several albums of Beethoven and Brahms in the 2000s decade. In 2022, he issued an album of music by Debussy and Tristan Murail. His album Chopin: Secret Garden appeared in 2023.
