Composer and producer Oleksiy Andriyovych Potapenko, aka Potap, found his musical footing in Ukraine in 2006 with the hip-hop act Vkhid u Zminnomu Vzutti. But he didn't strike gold until he forged a partnership with fellow singer Nastya Kamenskykh and began writing pop songs with Russian lyrics. Their hit “Ne Para” was the first in a long line of chart-toppers, many of which arrived accompanied by provocative videos. The pair have since gone on to conquer the airwaves across Russia and their native Ukraine.
