Singing in his native tongue as well as English, Russian hitmaker Dima Bilan has catapulted his country's pop music onto the international stage. His romantic vocals have won him prizes at home and in Europe, while the electronic pop and unforgettable chorus of “Never Let You Go” saw him take second place at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. Two years later, the powerful drums and lush orchestration of “Believe” won first prize, and testified to a versatility that he has shown again and again in tracks as diverse as the upbeat dance number “Lady” and the breakup ballad “It Was Love”.
