Paradox

Hip-hop artist Paradox, aka Tanishq Singh, captures life stories straight out of India’s Delhi National Capital Region in his high-powered rap. Catapulted to fame in 2023 as a runner-up on talent show MTV Hustle 2.0, Paradox amassed a huge following due to the series’ format of writing and performing original rap. For Paradox, that meant songs such as the comedic “BT Ho Gayi”, a verse-by-verse account of growing up in middle India, as well as more hard-hitting tracks like “Gang Wale Munde” and the escapist “Jaadugar”. Prior to his TV success, Paradox dealt in more introspective musings on 2022’s Overthink. He’s since teamed up with the likes of Punjabi singer-rapper Parmish Verma to unlock new audiences on “Check It Out”—now showcasing a range that covers Hindi, Punjabi and Haryanvi rap.
