Just Friends

A large Bay Area band with an interesting sonic trajectory, Just Friends emerged in the mid-2010s with a peculiar brass-driven mix of hardcore punk and emo that over subsequent releases shifted into pop-rap and eventually funk rock. After two albums, 2015's Rock 2 the Rhythm and 2018's Nothing But Love, and an increasing tour presence on both sides of the Atlantic, the group signed with Pure Noise Records to release their funk-influenced third album, Hella, in 2022.
