Verka Serduchka is the drag personality of Ukrainian actor, comedian and musician Andriy Danylko. Danylko invented the beloved character in the early ‘90s when he started releasing campy pop and dance hits—most famous being the Eurodance smash "Dancing Lasha Tumbai". The song represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 and finished in second place. Danylko has gone on to release many more novelty hits as Verka Serduchka, gaining a following for his hilarious videos and raunchy lyrics.
