Tangerine Dream: Deep Cuts

Tangerine Dream: Deep Cuts

Given Tangerine Dream's atmospheric leanings, it's fitting that some of their best work was made for film. The entrancing 1977 soundtrack to the movie Sorcerer fuses medieval melodies with hypnotic arpeggios, while 1983's “Wavelength” is a sketch-like miniature whose burbling tones suggest volumes. And in 2013, the group collaborated with Woody Jackson on the high-energy soundtrack to the video game Grand Theft Auto V.
