Like basically every single artist who has headed back on the road this year, the last couple months have been pretty glorious for Australian dance music trio RÜFÜS DU SOL. “We’ve been DJing around Europe this summer, collecting new tracks along the way,” James Hunt—producer, drummer and one third of the group—tells Apple Music. RÜFÜS DU SOL's Selects playlist—where DJs and producers showcase their favourite tracks of any given moment—“is a bunch of our favourite new music that we've been spinning this summer,” he says. Hot off the release of their Surrender (Remixes) album, the band have been slotting in a handful of those cuts in their sets. “The ‘On My Knees (Adriatique Remix)’ as well as the ‘Devotion (Luke Alessi Remix)’ have been standouts,” producer Jon George says. “The crowds have been loving them, so we’re excited to have these out.” He also calls out Innellea's “Concrete Jungle - Transhumanism Project (1 / 3)” as a playlist highlight, while lead vocalist Tyrone Lindqvist earmarks WhoMadeWho & Rampa's “UUUU” as a favourite.
