Rainbow: Deep Cuts

Rainbow: Deep Cuts

Ronnie James Dio was Rainbow's first and most famous frontman, but he was just one chapter in their long history. Graham Bonnet and his gravelly scream turned the band toward sludgy, bottom-heavy hard rock, as heard in “Lost In Hollywood” and the nasty “Danger Zone”, and Joe Lynn Turner's slashing cries sliced through the speedy, bass-drum-powered “Spotlight Kid”, one of Rainbow's hardest metal jams.
