Growing up in the Queensbridge housing projects, he put together the Juice Crew—a crack team of golden era rappers that included Big Daddy Kane, MC Shan, Biz Markie, Kool G Rap, Roxanne Shante, Craig G and Masta Ace. That's not to mention his work outside of the family with LL Cool J, Eric B & Rakim, Nas and Noreaga. Salute a true master.
