Yassine Ben Achour's lifelong friends from the Düsseldorf neighborhood he used to graffiti still call him "Dice", but the rest of us know him as Loco Dice, the artist whose driving tech-house has conquered clubs the world over. He got his start on labels like Cadenza and Cocoon before launching Desolat as a platform for his sleek, moody sound. As a DJ, he's equally at home on festival main stages and in Ibiza's most hedonistic clubs, but his own productions, like his 2008 debut album, reveal a softer side, where the shadows are as important as the spotlight.
